There are many tax-forfeited lands for sale in Minnesota. Land Appraisal And Purchase
Minnesota lands for sale are appraised at fair market value, and must be approved for sale by the state of Minnesota. It is important to note that no land parcel will be sold for less than the appraised value. This, generally, isn't a problem for those wishing to purchase land because of the many choices that are often available.
Land Sale Auctions
Land sales, however, are not on an annual basis. There may sometimes even be a period of two to three years between sales. The land sale auctions are conducted orally; however, mailed, sealed bids are usually accepted and are opened prior to the oral auction.

Land sale auction information is usually posted on the Internet, and is specific to each county. For a small fee, you can also signed up for the land sale mailing list to receive this information instead. The fee often covers the cost for you to receive such information on land auctions for a period of time, usually up to five years, depending on the individual county stipulations.
