What is a 4-Plex?

A 4-plex is a home in which there are four units, which are a lot like
apartments. Generally, these four units are divided into floors so that each
renting family occupies a unit will get an entire floor. Another popular way in
which the units are divided is so that they are along side one another.
However, no matter what way in which the units are divided, a 4-plex is a home
which is meant for four families to live in. At times, the people who rent
these homes may be related to one another, but more often than not, they are of
no relation to one another.
What are the Benefits of this Investment?
There are many benefits that come along with having this type of investment,
the biggest one being the monthly rent that you will make from it. You will
have a continuous flow of extra income. Instead of owning a duplex where you
will only be collecting rent money from two renters, owning a 4-plex will give

you are looking for ways to help pay for your children to go to college or to

income that you will be earning into a fund for yourself. Whereas most people

There are several ways for you to increase the number of people who will be
interested in renting one of your 4-plex's units. The main key to making people
interested is the location that you choose. If you pick a location that is in a
larger city, such as the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area, you will increase the
amount of renters that will want to live in your 4-plex. Another way that will
make your 4-plex more appealing to renters is to add all of the features you
know that people love. Make both the interior and exterior look attractive and
add as many extra "luxuries" as you possibly can. The key is to get people
interested in living in your lovely 4-plex units, so you need to do as much as
possible to make them want to. As long as you have people who want to rent your
4-plex units, you will be making a good amount of extra income.
